Twyford Lane is a specialist residential service comprising of three houses, offering continuing rehabilitation and care for people who have already undergone rehabilitation. Those who need specialist care and support in a residential setting and those with longer-term support need to maintain their independence.
Specialism: Residential care
Twyford Lane offers accommodation with 24-hour shared support from our specially trained staff teams. We support people to develop their person-centred support plan, which embraces their lifestyle choices and includes input from family members and professional stakeholders involved in their care.
Twyford Lane offers attractive and accessible accommodation for nine people. En suite bedrooms are complimented by spacious communal areas, which include separate living room areas with smart TVs, kitchen diners, and utility rooms.
People we support enjoy access to a wide range of therapeutic and recreational activities and a large garden which is communal and shared privately between the three properties.
We work with people with a range of cognitive, physical, and/or emotional symptoms following a severe brain injury. Support provided is based on a neuro-behavioural approach. It focuses on enabling service users to function more independently and to participate in as many of their previous roles and activities as possible while developing their lives with privacy, dignity and respect.
The programme may include:
