Home > News > Minster Law transforms key spaces at Brainkind Osman House
Whether it is lending a hand at one of our services, supporting us at community events, or offering specialist skills, our corporate volunteers help create the warm, welcoming, and empowering environments the people we support deserve.
And earlier this month, we were delighted to welcome Minster Law, who dedicated their time and energy into transforming the corridors and reception at Brainkind Osman House.
Giving back to the local community
Osman House was in need of a paint refresh, and when Emily, our Service Manager, reached out to see if we could gather any volunteers, we contacted Minster Law and there was absolutely no hesitation from them to get involved.
Matthew Dunn went above and beyond, organising 20 volunteers over 4 days (5 people each day) to help repaint the corridors and reception area of Osman House as part of Minster Law’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme. Matthew also generously gave his own time, visiting on a couple of occasions beforehand and liaising closely with Emily to ensure everything was planned and ready.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to all of those involved for their incredible support in helping us refresh our service.
The impact has been fantastic. The refreshed corridors and newly painted reception area have completely brightened up the service. The green in the reception area has been especially loved by the people we support, as well as staff, visitors, and families.
We are so grateful for the time, effort, and enthusiasm shown by Matthew and the entire team at Minster Law. Your support has truly made a difference, thank you!
The psychological impact of giving back
Corporate volunteering is more than just a way for businesses to give back to their communities. It’s an opportunity for their teams to engage with meaningful causes, connect with each other, and make a lasting impact to their wider communities.
Volunteering provides teams with a sense of purpose and fulfilment that goes beyond their everyday tasks
