Brainkind Announces New Directors of Research and Clinical Services

Brainkind research year in review

We are delighted to announce two exciting changes to our leadership team.

After four years as our Director of Clinical Services, Dr. Rudi Coetzer has taken up a new post as Brainkind’s Research Director. Since 2021, Rudi has led our clinical team and has championed the work of Brainkind across the country. We are delighted he will be staying with us and continuing to lead our important research.

Our Clinical Services team will now be headed by Pieter du Toit. Pieter has worked at Brainkind Fen House since 2021 and been an active member of our clinical leadership team throughout his tenure here.

Pieter also has over 20 years’ experience as a clinical psychologist in public and private health settings. We are excited to welcome him as our new Director of Clinical Services and look forward to working with him in this new role.

Ayesha Trott, our Executive Director of Service Delivery, said: “These new appointments will help us continue to shape our services supporting people living with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.”

“Everyone at Brainkind congratulates them both on their new roles.”
