Home > News > Brainkind Launches 2025 Christmas Appeal: No Matter What
Everyone deserves to feel the warmth of Christmas.
For many of us, Christmas means family, laughter, and love. But for some people rebuilding their lives after a brain injury, or living with a complex neurological condition, the festive season can feel isolating.
At Brainkind, we’re here to change that.
We believe that everyone – no matter what they’ve been through – deserves to feel the Christmas spirit.
That’s why we’re launching our 2025 Christmas appeal. And we’re asking for your help to make Christmas special for the people we support across the UK.
Your donations, through our JustGiving page, will help us bring warmth, joy, and togetherness to people whose lives have been turned upside down.

Your donations could help create the memories that make life special and the moments that spark joy.
Last year, your donations helped us to celebrate with the people we support and their loved ones at Brainkind services across the country:
Last year, our team in Hull were able to invite the families and friends of everyone we support at the service for a grand Christmas party. They all enjoyed a three-course Christmas feast, party games, and an in-house choir performance. They were also joined by Santa and an elf (played by our dedicated support workers)!
Lynda, who we support at Victoria House, said: “It’s always felt like being back home and being with family here at Victoria House. Even though I am living here, Christmas is made so, so special.”
The people we support at Kent House went on a festive trip to see the 2024 Christmas lights at Waddeston Manor before enjoying a delicious hot chocolate at their local Christmas market.
At Kerwin Court, donations and volunteers helped the people we support work with staff to dress a festive Christmas tree. They even worked together to hand-make all of the decorations! The finished tree was put on display alongside trees from other local organisations at a nearby Horsharm park.
These are just some of the magical moments that your donations made possible last Christmas. And we want to do the same again for the people we support this year. There are so many ways to help us spread Christmas cheer.
