Home / Get involved / Get Moving in May
This May, we’re walking, running and cycling (and moving any other way we can think of) 1,000 miles to raise funds for Brainkind’s vital brain injury support.
Exercise is also known to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and boost self-esteem.
Our collective target in May is to move (steps, cycling, running etc) 1000 miles, which is the distance between our 13 specialist neurological rehabilitation services.
You can donate or sponsor our teams (including the people we support) who are covering the 1,000 miles or you can join in and challenge yourself!
Any miles you can contribute will help; perhaps you could set yourself your own personal target?
It’s your choice how you take part. You could cycle, walk, run, swim – even playing ball, as long as you’re keep a track of your miles!
Your generous donations help us to enrich the lives of the people we support through social activities and projects.
The people we support and staff at Brainkind have created the Get Moving in May playlist on Spotify to help you get moving while making your miles!
By taking part, donating or sponsoring Brainkind, you are making a big difference to the rehabilitation of the people we support.
Learn about the people we support, their experiences and how through rehab they have become more mobile and independent.
